Major Business
ECS(Engineering Control System)
ECS performs controlling and monitoring functions for the main propulsion system, electrical system, selected auxiliary system, and ship’s total damage control system based on a distributed open architecture system supported by a fiber optic communication network.
System line-up
Display and process information for each device on the vessel / Provide operation, control, and observation functions of the propulsion system
* What is a console assembly? Assembly that makes contract the components of damage control console components and protects the internal components from external shock.
Damage Control Console [DCC]
It monitors and controls sensors related to the damage control system.
Electric Power plant Control Console Power [EPCC]
It performs a mission for monitoring and controlling power devices for the vessel including the main switchboard of the generator system and load center.
Propulsion and Auxiliary Control Console [PACC]
It performs a function of monitoring and controlling about propulsion equipment, independent auxiliary and propulsion auxiliary equipment.
Steering Control Console [SCC]
It monitors and controls the propulsion system, navigation, steering, communication, and damage situation.
Super Visory Console [SVC]
It is used for instructors in the OBTS (On-Board Training System) mode.
Local Operation Panel [LOP]
It performs a damage control function by putting on the emergency shutdown of the gas turbine engine using local mode.
Sub-Damage Control Console [SUB-DCC]
It performs a disaster control function by stopping the gas turbine engine in local mode.
Remote Operational Panel [ROP]
It is able to possible operation by utilizing a separate assembly of PACC as the assembly which performs the function of remote operation.
Data Acquisition Unit [DAU], Engine Control Unit (ECU)
The equipment (the part corresponding to the heart of the control system) which is that controls the mechanical device using data collected from various sensors in the vessel (warship/battleship, merchant vessel).
Data Acquisition Unit (DAU)
DAU carries out the functions of controlling and monitoring the electrical system and auxiliary system. It is transmitted and received mutual data for DAU and EC, consoles such as EPCC and PACC by measuring signals and processing data. It is connected directly hard-wired method in the actuator and vessel sensor and connected to serial communication with other devices.

Additional equipment
Uninterruptible Power Supply [UPS]
A power supply unit (PSU) that is uninterrupted for 30 minutes to the equipment due to a power cut in the vessel.
Junction box
a vessel / a shore junction box
ICAS
A device for the analysis and collection of vibration data through the network.
Large Screen Display (55")
A device that displays the ECS program window through a large TFT-LCD TV.
Printer station
A device that the operator prints other information and event record, dates, and alarm.
